Seattle Municipal Court is located in the Seattle Justice Center in downtown Seattle at 600 5th Avenue. Established in 2002, the Seattle Justice Center houses both the Seattle Municipal Court and the Seattle Police Department.  With jurisdiction over any civil infraction, misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor filed by the Seattle City Attorney's office, this court is by far the state's busiest and most chaotic municipal court.
